This product does help you get Smarter Rest by keeping out almost all light! Included in this product are a set of ear plugs which can be kept in the the strap of the sleep mask and a bag to put it all in. Although the product did not stay on me the entire night, it did get me an extra two hours of sleep when I woke up too early. It blocks about 95% of the light and is fairly comfortable to wear. The strap is Velcro and easily can be attached and readjusted to fit any head size.
